I probably started working on the backyard around a month after I moved into this wonderful mountain house.
Introduction
It was relatively in good condition and seemed to be a well-maintained large backyard. The previous owner even told me it’s a low maintenance yard, but it instantly made me wonder as I knew it had quite a large area of grass/weed… so I am sure that it will keep me busy weeding, especially during the warmer seasons.
In the beginning, I wasn’t sure how I would go about garden design. I started purchasing and planting flowers and plants that I fell in love with at a local nursery.
By clearing the weeded garden bed and planting colorful flowers, it seems to have started to form an enjoyable garden patch.
Now my gardening project on a blank canvas is underway.
